How Avon campaigns work & how to plan your diary

How Avon campaigns work & how to plan your diary

Avon campaigns are usually three weeks long, except for the campaigns around Christmas and New Year, which are two weeks long. You will be notified of the relevant order and delivery dates on your invoice, or online when you log in.

Avon has 18 campaigns in a year. Each campaign you should plan ahead and work back from the date you need to submit your order so you can plan time for when you are going to:
  • Visit your customers and circulate brochures
  • Look for new customers and canvass any roads allocated to you
  • Collect customer orders
  • Submit your Avon order (ordering online rather than posting the paper order form means you have 2 extra days and access to additional offers – so make the most of this extra selling time!)
  • Deliver orders to your customers and collect their payment
  • Pay Avon for your order.

This process is repeated for each of Avon campaigns.

You can use a diary or a calendar to plan your time, working back from the date you need to submit your order to maximise your selling opportunity!

    1. I have sent you an email – we will try to add some public downloads in the near future that will help other AVON reps plan their business. Thanks for popping by!

  2. Thanks for the clear explanation, was trying to wrap my head around this. I’m actually in somebody else’s team but found this site tonight and wish I had held off and joined AVON with you guys :s

    1. Hi Mary – thank you for the feedback, and thank you for your kind comments – I am sure you will do well with AVON, and feel free to drop by here whenever you like, whilst we write articles for our own team it is great if it helps anybody, so don’t feel you have to avoid us just because you have a different sales leader 😉 Let me know if I can be any help in your AVON career, will be happy to assist in any way I can.

    1. One drop ordering is quite simple really, it simply combines a couple of the steps above. When a customer has ordered from you, between the date you order with AVON and the delivery comes to you, drop the next brochure to the customer. Then when you deliver their LAST order, you can pick up the book and their NEXT order. This saves your time a bit, but make sure you explain to the customer what you are doing first – some people get confused if you show them the next book before their last order has arrived, so let them know what you are doing and it can be a very effective time saver.
